MLPB’s Unlocking Access service suite includes a system design consulting component at the intersection of health-related social needs (HRSN), structural dimensions of health (SDOH), and access to justice barriers. We are excited to provide an ACO/CP with customized technical assistance on, for instance: (1) Member-centered considerations that should inform HRSN screening, triage, and response protocols and workflows, with attention to (a) prioritization of legal risk identification/mitigation as opposed to legal crisis management and (b) key non-discrimination protections available to members; (2) Strategies to promote more reliable safe hand-offs of members to high-quality, affordable legal representation as necessary; and/or (3) Approaches to ACO/CP engagement with public policy deliberations that can promote health equity for populations of members.

This Off the Shelf TA offering is most valuable for an ACO/CP that has identified a distinct health-related social need that is disproportionately impacting (harming) a defined population (or sub-population) of members.
