Technology Vendor Selection
ACOs and Community Partners require effective, user-friendly technology solutions to achieve key objectives via DSRIP. Intrepid Ascent offers to manage the vendor selection process for the following types of technology vendors:
- Care management systems that enable shared care planning both within health care and between health care and social services; these systems are critical for distributed care teams
- Social service referral platforms that enable closed-loop referrals between health care and community partners, often including electronic directories of community-based servicers
- Analytics platforms that support population health management
- Health information exchange systems, from targeted services such as hospital event notifications to a full-scale HIE technology “stack” for data exchange, integration, and warehousing
- EHR modules or add-ons
- Combinations of any of the above
Specific project steps include:
- The identification of relevant organizational goals
- Defining detailed business and technical requirements
- Development of an RFP and management of communication with bidders
- Facilitating a proposal review committee
- Facilitating finalist demos and review committee decision-making session(s)
- Advising during the contracting process
For organizations that may have already conducted a needs assessment for new technology tools and/or those that would prefer to conduct the procurement on its own, Intrepid can customize this project to omit any of steps #1, #4, #5, and/or #6. Removal of these steps can result in a reduction in overall project cost.
