Motivational Interviewing Workshop
Our Motivational Interviewing (MI) workshop focuses on MI as an evidence-based approach to client communication, no matter what setting you are in.
Drawing from a wealth of experience working with clients in health and human service settings, the facilitator introduces participants to the MI approach, MI principles, the role of ambivalence, and true engagement. Workshop includes MI Traps, Tools, and Techniques. Emphasis is given to the importance of MI as a way of being with the people we seek to help.
Methodologies include lecture, film, case studies, small and large group discussions, and Q & A.
Two Day Training can be customized to accommodate remote or in-person as well as be adapted to 4 ½ day sessions either in person or remote.
Content is not customizable as it is based on evidence-based best practices of motivational interviewing.
Please note that a free, non-interactive online Motivational Interviewing training is also available on the TA Marketplace.
