Integrating Behavioral Health and Primary Care 2 Day In-Person or Virtual Classroom Intensive Training
Time: 2 full days, intensive course.
Audience: Primary care and behavioral health teams at ACOs and CPs.
Location: In person, interactive online learning, or blended learning.
Goal: Effective integration of primary care and behavioral health is essential to achieving better health outcomes.
Primary care and behavioral health providers all play an important role in developing and maintaining integrated care teams. Participants will be able to (a) describe the purpose and value of integration, (b) effectively engage with each other to identify potential treatment pathways, and (c) understand and appropriately engage patients in medication-assisted treatment. This training can be customized to address the roles, responsibilities, and integration model at your organization, as well as through the development of case studies/group work exercises that address common challenges and barriers to integration that your organization is facing. It can also be customized by modality (e.g., in person, online, blended) and timeframe (e.g., 2 full days, 4 shorter days), as well as by developing case studies/group work exercises specific to your workplace.
