Get Media Attention
Both ACO’s and CPs can use earned media to their advantage. For ACOs, earned media is a great tool for direct outreach to their members. For Community Partners, earned media provides an opportunity to raise the organization’s profile and strengthen their relationships with referral sources and ACOs. Are you effectively reaching out to the media to communicate important information about your ACO or CP? Are you turning down media interview opportunities because you are afraid you will say something wrong? Although you may have extensive knowledge about your organization, this training will ensure you deliver a successful media interview. You will learn best practices such as: knowing what to research prior to your interview, how to stay on message, how to prepare for unexpected questions, and tips on maintaining good diction and poise during the interview.

- Mock interview
The curriculum for Community Partners includes:
- Understanding ACOs and referral sources. What do they need to know about you?
- Information to prepare prior to interview including: previous media coverage background information and facts, context, script
- Preparing your appearance and voice – maintaining diction and composure
- Tips on answering unexpected questions
- Review successful interviews to learn best practices
- Mock interview.
This training will bring a cohort of participants together for a live webinar session on a variety of topics including understanding your target audiences, strategies to engage hard to reach demographics, developing targeted messages and materials, preparing for media interviews or learning how to create successful events using Zoom or Facebook LIVE.
