Emergency Operational & Cash Management Strategies
Interruptions in business operations and cash flow during an emergency can devastate health care organizations. However, emergency situations can also serve as a catalyst for rapid adoption of both traditional operational and cash management strategies as well as new reimbursement models that can help address immediate cash needs. Through this TA offering, HMA will provide 20 hours of TA to partner with your organization to quickly assess the extent to which it is employing best-practice operational and cash management strategies (e.g., developing or enhancing key operational workflows and cash management reports, addressing new revenue opportunities, working with lenders and other funders, and managing expenses) and provide concrete recommendations for addressing gaps. HMA will also provide strategic consulting on the extent to which value-based payment options can be leveraged to address your organization’s immediate cash needs. HMA can customize the scope to more specifically address an ACO or CP’s unique needs. Customization is available with respect to number of TA hours an organization requests to support the project. Total requested hours will influence pricing. TA support will be provided telephonically or via online audio/video technology unless otherwise requested. Onsite HMA participation will influence pricing.
