Community Health Workers and a Pandemic Response Training
This training includes the history of pandemics; the role of Community Health Workers (CHWs) in the community response, the role of CHWs in the healthcare response; CHWs as community experts; safety practices; CHWs as contact tracers; vaccine information both general and specific to Covid-19; and resources for CHWs.
Taught by a public health nurse and public health educator, this course encourages and equips CHWs to work within difficult community pandemic events at the top of their skill set.
Content is customizable to include both general and specific information on pandemics in general and Covid-19 in particular.
